Modern antibiotic extraction technology mainly includes aqueous two-phase extraction, reverse micelle extraction and membrane separation extraction.
In recent years, the extraction of antibiotics has become one of the key fields of membrane
separation technology, and the research is very active. Membrane separation technology, instead of traditional separation and purification technology, can simplify the production process of antibiotics, save organic solvent, reduce the degradation of target products in the extraction process, improve product yield and reduce environmental pollution. At present, membrane separation technology is mainly used for clarification of antibiotic fermentation
broth, concentration and desalination of products and concentration of antibiotics in waste liquor.
Membrane separation engineering has become an important means of technological innovation in modern pharmaceutical industry. With the continuous improvement of product quality and reduction of production cost, the advantages of membrane technology are more and more obvious, and it will replace the traditional low-efficiency separation technology.
